Biography
Mrs. Julia Healy is an attorney specializing in business immigration law at the Law Office of Nazly Mamedova. She is admitted to practice law by the Ohio Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Mrs. Healy earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, graduating in May 2024, and successfully passed the Ohio Bar Exam in October 2024. Prior to her legal career, she gained extensive experience in business immigration as a paralegal at a busy immigration firm in Cincinnati. In this role, she worked on a variety of employment-based visas, including H-1Bs, TNs, L-1s, and other temporary work visas, as well as managing the employment-based green card process for many corporate clients.
Her passion for immigration law stems from her desire to support both foreign nationals and their employers. She values the opportunity to collaborate with businesses, helping them achieve their employment goals while also assisting skilled professionals in securing opportunities in the United States.
Mrs. Healy's professional journey began with a background in cultural anthropology and geography, having earned her bachelor's degree from Ohio University in 2011. After graduation, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member with a Northern California tribe on a reservation. She later earned her paralegal certificate from UC Clermont College before pursuing law school.
She joined the Law Office of Nazly Mamedova during law school and was invited to continue as an attorney, with a particular focus on business immigration. Her dedication to her clients, attention to detail, and strategic approach make her a valuable partner to employers navigating the complexities of the U.S. immigration system.
