Biography
Mr. Kassym is an associate lawyer at the Law Office of Nazly Mamedova and practices immigration law, advising clients on family reunification issues, and representing clients in deportation and asylum proceedings. Mr. Kasim also focuses on juvenile and domestic relations issues in immigration law. He has experience filing U visa petitions and VAWA applications. He is fluent in Russian, Kazakh and French.
Mr. Kassym received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a BA in political science with a concentration in French from the University of Minnesota.
Mr. Kassym is authorized to appear before the Ohio Supreme Court. He also appears before the Board of Immigration Appeals, U.S. Immigration Courts, and all U.S. immigration agencies. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. His previous experience includes internships with Senior District Judge Michael R. Barrett of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and D.E. Foxx and Associates; internship with the Ohio Innocence Project; as well as an internship at the law office of Nazly Mamedova.
